Privacy Policy

Last updated 24 September 2026

Who at Mulgaly is responsible for my information?

This policy covers mulgaly.com, which is operated by Mulgaly in Tennant Creek, Northern Territory. Mulgaly lists home-based part-time roles and passes applications to the businesses that offer them; the business, not Mulgaly, is the employer. You can write to Mulgaly at careers@mulgaly.com. Mulgaly follows the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What does Mulgaly collect when I apply?

Two kinds reach Mulgaly. One is what you type into the Mulgaly form: name, mobile, email, the role you picked and any optional note, with the required fields marked. Second, the WhatsApp message you send the Mulgaly HR team, which shows your WhatsApp display name, your number and whatever you wrote. If you email Mulgaly, we also receive your email address and message.

Does Mulgaly collect anything automatically?

Like every website, mulgaly.com receives basic technical data such as IP address, device and browser details, pages viewed, the page you came from and timestamps. These records are kept by Mulgaly's hosting provider for security and reliability, and Mulgaly does not match them to any application.

Required and optional fields

If a required field is empty, Mulgaly may not be able to contact you or pass your application to the employer. Optional fields in the Mulgaly application can be left empty.

Information Mulgaly does not want

Do not share passwords, SMS verification codes, card or bank account numbers, tax file numbers or images of ID with Mulgaly. Mulgaly has no use for them, will not request them and removes them if they are sent anyway.

How Mulgaly uses information

So that Mulgaly can answer your application, share details of the role, forward you to the right employer, respond to questions, keep a record of conversations, handle complaints and follow the law.

No selling, no marketing lists

No, not at Mulgaly. Mulgaly never sells or rents personal information, and applying does not add you to any marketing list. If a different employer might suit you better, Mulgaly will ask first and share nothing for that purpose unless you agree.

Who can see my Mulgaly application?

The Mulgaly HR team, and the employer offering the role you chose. Before Mulgaly introduces you, we tell you which employer it is and which details they will receive.

Which outside services does Mulgaly use?

mulgaly.com is hosted and protected by Cloudflare, which also forwards emails addressed to Mulgaly. The typefaces on the Mulgaly site come from Google Fonts, so your browser fetches them from Google. Messages with Mulgaly HR travel through WhatsApp, a Meta service. Those companies act under their own privacy rules, not only under Mulgaly's. Mulgaly will list any new provider here, for example a form builder or ad tag, before switching it on.

Could Mulgaly pass my information to authorities?

Only when the law requires Mulgaly to, or when the law allows it and it is reasonably needed to look into misuse or protect someone's rights.

How does the Mulgaly WhatsApp step work?

Applying to Mulgaly has two steps: the form, then a WhatsApp message to HR. Our button only opens WhatsApp with suggested text to the Mulgaly HR number shown in the chat header. Nothing goes to Mulgaly until you press Send yourself. No WhatsApp? Write to careers@mulgaly.com and Mulgaly will arrange another option.

Does Mulgaly use cookies?

mulgaly.com does not use advertising or analytics cookies. To block bots, the company hosting mulgaly.com may place a strictly necessary security cookie. Blocking or deleting cookies will not stop the Mulgaly site from working.

Does Mulgaly track me for advertising?

Mulgaly does not do this at present. As of the date above, mulgaly.com has no advertising tags, remarketing or analytics installed. If that changes, Mulgaly will first update this section with the provider's name, what it receives and your choices. Names, phone numbers and emails are never put into Mulgaly tracking events or links.

Overseas handling

It can, through Mulgaly's providers. Cloudflare, Google and WhatsApp, which Mulgaly uses, handle data in a number of countries including the United States. Mulgaly follows the Australian Privacy Principles for overseas disclosures; email careers@mulgaly.com for details.

How long does Mulgaly keep it?

Mulgaly keeps application records for no more than twelve months after the last genuine contact about a role, then deletes them. Ask and Mulgaly will delete earlier; records are kept longer only if required by law or an open dispute. Technical logs for the Mulgaly site generally drop off after about 30 days.

How does Mulgaly keep it safe?

mulgaly.com uses HTTPS, and only the people handling applications can open them. No system is perfect, so if a breach is likely to cause you serious harm, Mulgaly will notify you under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

If Mulgaly deletes my details, are they gone everywhere?

Employers you were introduced to, and WhatsApp itself, may hold their own records outside Mulgaly's control. Mulgaly can point you to the right place to ask them.

Can I see, change or delete what Mulgaly holds?

You may ask Mulgaly at careers@mulgaly.com for a copy of your information, a correction, deletion or withdrawal of your application. Mulgaly may need to confirm who you are, will try to respond within 30 days and will give reasons if a request is refused. Once Mulgaly has passed your details to an employer, that step cannot be taken back.

Keeping details current

Let Mulgaly know and your record will be updated.

Automated decisions

No, Mulgaly does not. A person at Mulgaly reads every application, and the employer decides who is hired.

Minors

mulgaly.com is for adults looking for work. If Mulgaly finds a child's information, it is deleted.

Complaints

Write to careers@mulgaly.com explaining your concern. Mulgaly will look into it and respond in writing, and if you remain dissatisfied, a person at Mulgaly with no earlier involvement will review the matter afresh.

The role you choose

Knowing the role lets Mulgaly send you the right training link and pass your application to the correct employer. If you are unsure, you can say so in your WhatsApp message and Mulgaly HR will explain the options before anything is shared. You can change your choice at any time before an introduction is made, simply by messaging HR or emailing careers@mulgaly.com.

WhatsApp conversations

Mulgaly keeps the chat so HR can see what was already discussed and avoid asking you twice. Your messages are seen only by the people at Mulgaly who look after applications. You can ask Mulgaly to delete the conversation from its side at any time, although your own copy and WhatsApp's records are managed by you and by WhatsApp. Mulgaly never forwards your chat to marketing companies.

Can I change my mind after applying to Mulgaly?

You can change your mind about Mulgaly at any time. Tell Mulgaly HR on WhatsApp or write to careers@mulgaly.com, and Mulgaly will end contact about roles, make no new introductions and remove your information as described under retention, except anything Mulgaly is legally obliged to keep.

Accuracy

Mulgaly relies on the details you give, so please check them before you submit. If HR notices something that looks wrong, such as a mistyped number, Mulgaly will ask you to confirm it on WhatsApp rather than guess. You can correct your details at any time by messaging HR or writing to careers@mulgaly.com.

Changes to this policy

It may, and Mulgaly will say so. Updates are posted here with a new date, and if they affect information Mulgaly already holds, you will be told first where the law requires.
